Super Friendz

Isolation Mixtape, Volume 1

Your friendly neighbourhood promotors Super Friendz have brought together some of the finest independent bands in the North for this Isolation Mixtape. Comprised of 18 tracks, this Pay As You Feel release is expertly curated to take you on a journey of sounds through Yorkshire and the surrounding area.

Stand out tracks include Long Legged Creatures mind-melting track CMAD, Holodrum’s booty-shaking ‘No Dither’ and Mamilah’s shining new single ‘Disappear’.

Mamilah have the ability to make you dance in your seat without a care in the world. This sunny new track from the Leeds neo-soul collective is the first single from their refreshing upcoming EP, Talk Less. Against the echo chambers and saturated dialogue of our current age, this EP is a ‘is a commentary on a world where it is rare that people truly listen’. Coming at a time of widespread uncertainty and solidarity, this EP provides a taste of going back to life as we know it with a new source of compassion and appreciation.

Emerging act Niall Summerton and his band bring some soothing, smooth jazz-styled folk music to the Delinquent Studio. Featuring laid-back tracks ‘Aimless’, ‘Love Like Ours’, ‘All Mixed Up’ and ‘Oh, To Waste My Time!’

DCYY is a Chinese party collective with the aim to raise money to “help those fighting against the epidemic, while also bringing some of those trapped at home together with some new music to ease out some anxiety.” Featuring the notorious Leeds party-starter Dubrunner (Stretchy Dance Supply, Scuffed Recordings)
