The big one-oh! This milestone edition of Nice People Magazine features interviews with emerging band English Teacher, dark indie soul sing-songwriter August Charles, DJ and night life staple Aletha and this issue's cover artist Julia Pomeroy. There's also a delightful comic strip by illustrator Molly Pukes and the first instalment of Izzy Weglowski's series of short stories.

Issue 9 introduces you to cover artist Emily Flanagan, Sheffield hip-hop poet Otis Mensah, Leeds rapper Yusuf Yellow, the folk behind RACE ZINE and the art space Assembly House.


This issue features interviews with the formidable NRTH LASS Magazine and Sheffield's Blancmange Lounge, alongside introductions to music acts Jackie Moonbather, Spacey Basement Cult and Alex Golisti.

Our 1st Birthday Issue! Bigger and thicker than ever, this issue spotlights the vibrant and multi-faceted arts and music scene here in Leeds. Featuring cover artists Mike Winnard, hip-hop poet Otis Mensah, ceramicist Emma Low who makes tit pots for a living, local records label Come Play With Me, inclusive part collective Party Moms, 35mm photographer Nigel Allison and many more.


In this issue, we introduce you to local bands jellyskin, Roe Green, Ruthie and Jooloosooboo, Leeds artist Ricky Butcher, the Stockport regeneration project Open Spaces, the creative collective Take Note and the initiative Meeting Point who help refugees and asylum seekers.


Issue 4 of Nice People introduces Leeds hip-hop artists Hanibl x Dante, Young Wizard and Moegli, local artists Cait McEniff and Lucy Ketchin, Leeds' Dman & Friends and the charity Bloody Good Period, who combat period poverty by providing menstrual products to those who can't afford them
